Het Lorkenbos is suitable for everyone who is looking for a nice and relaxing stay in Holland. Our small family business since 1954, is a holiday park, surrounded by forest, sand drift and heathland. Het Lorkenbos offers luxurious bungalows and family houses suitable for 2 to 16 people.
Our resort is located in the small village Otterlo, the famous National Park De Hoge Veluwe is only 2,5 kilometres from our park and there are multiple other activities on a walking distance. Our park is perfect for both families and individuals who are looking for a comfortable place to stay. Besides a camp site we offer bungalows, family houses, chalets, caravans and group accommodations. At our park there is an outdoor swimming pool which is open during spring / summer, we have multiple playgrounds, a nice restaurant and during the Dutch holidays we have an entertainment programme for the kids.
Bungalows
The bungalows of het Lorkenbos are located nearby beautiful heathlands. The smallest bungalows are suitable for 2 persons (Type Berken), the more luxurious bungalows for 4-6 persons are from the Type Korhoen and our most luxurious bungalows for 6-8 persons, with lots of space, a bathtub and underfloor heating are the bungalows of the Type Beekje
Family houses
Whether you want to organise a family / friends weekend, or a meeting with your colleagues, the family houses at Het Lorkenbos are the perfect place to stay. We have got family houses for 8 up to 16 persons which are wheelchair accessible, have luxurious adapted bathrooms and some even have more facilities for disabled people.
Family caravans
Het Lorkenbos has two family caravans for guest who want to `camp` in a comfortable way. The fully equipped caravans are suitable for 2 up to 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children). The caravans have cosy sittings with a television, a kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine, one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom. The caravans are located on the edge of the forest at our bungalow park.
Camp site
At our camp site we have 9 regular pitches, one camper pitch and one pitch at our bungalow park. There is a modern sanitary building and a laundry facility. There are multiple playgrounds, free karts for children, free-WIFI and we have got an outside swimming pool. The famous National Park De Hoge Veluwe is only 2,5 kilometres from our park and there are multiple other activities on a walking distance.

Pets
Your pets are more than welcome at our park, however we will charge you, since the cleaning will take longer when you bring your pets and we want our places to be clean. You are not allowed to bring more than 2 pets.
Reception
At the reception you can find maps, walking - and biking routes, souvenirs and information about the different activities in our neighbourhood, it is also possible to book some extra`s at the reception like;
